The typical conditions for our schools include:
Contract: One year with option to renew
Salary: 2.1-2.8 million depending on experience
Hours: 25-30 hours per week
Vacation: 2 weeks paid vacation
Salary Bonus: One month salary bonus paid at the end of the contract
Housing: Single Housing normally provided
Health: 50% shared between the teacher and school
Pension contributions: Paid by employee (4.5% each month) and fully matched by the employer
Airfare: 1-way ticket pre-paid*. A return ticket will be provided at the end of the contract
Overtime pay: 18,000-25,000 won an hour
* In the case that the schools wants you to purchase your own airfare and be reimbursed upon arrival, Morgan Recruiting will purchase your ticket for you and be reimbursed by the school instead of you, thus saving you time and effort.
The extensive range of services that we offer our applicants includes:
1) School screening to ensure your complete satisfaction in the school
2) Extensive contact with each applicant carefully answering all of your questions. This includes full assistance with visa processing and our recruiting team is well-prepared to answer all of your visa and application questions.
3) Airport pickup and greeting of all teachers
4) New Teachers Orientation Package - to assist all new teachers with the transition into Korea, we provide all of our teachers with a New Teacher Orientation Package with contains our Guidebook for Korea (teaching tips, places to visit, important contact information), a learn Korean textbook, an international phone card and a T-money subway card. We want all of our teachers to be as comfortable as possible when they first arrive in Korea.
5) Follow-up checks and surveys - Morgan Recruiting performs routine follow-up checks on all placed teachers at 1, 3, 6 and 11 months to ensure your complete satisfaction.
